This programme focuses on identifying vulnerable young people in particular girls and young people in the streets who are involved in hazardous substance and drug abuse. The programme provides them with a second chance in life through counseling, rehabilitation and empowerment so that they become productive citizens and help in the in nation building. The programme targets girls and young women between the ages of 11 – 35 years and primarily aims to reduce violence perpetrated against girls and young women in the streets as most of them have fallen victim to violence including sexual harassment, rape and assaults largely because of their vulnerability due to lack of structures to provide recourse and descent shelter and amenities. LIFE plans to expand this scope of work to places like Kakata (Margibi) and Buchanan (Grand Bassa) where the number of girls in the streets is also going up
